Synthesis of 4-Amino Pyrrolo and Indolo[1,2-a]quinoxalines via Copper-Catalyzed Insertion of O-benzoylhydroxylamines into Isocyanide
Abstract
We report a mild and efficient copper-catalyzed method for synthesizing amino-substituted pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline and indolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline derivatives via the insertion of o-benzoyl hydroxylamines to aryl isocyanides. This one-pot cascade transformation enables the simultaneous formation of C-N and C-C bonds, facilitating the efficient construction of heterocycles from diverse o-benzoyl hydroxylamines and isocyanide-substituted arene substrates.
