Single-Crystals of B-N Based Covalent Organic Polymers with Dual Photosensitive Motifs for Photocatalytic Dye Degradation

Abstract

Single crystals of a covalent organic polymer (CityU-69) with dual photosensitive motifs was prepared via B←N bonds. Single crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) analysis showed that CityU-69 has a zig-zag chain-like configuration. CityU-69 displays excellent photocatalytic activity for dye degradation, benefiting from fast charge transfer and synergistic effects between the two motifs.
