Joule-Heating-Assisted Construction of RuNiFeOx /Ni Foam for Highly Active and Durable Oxygen Evolution

Abstract

Efficient and durable OER electrocatalysts are essential for practical alkaline water electrolysis. We developed self-supported RuNiFeOx electrocatalysts on nickel foam via rapid pulsed Joule heating. It shows superior OER activity, fast reaction kinetics, and excellent durability, much better than the muffle-furnace-treated sample.
