Construction of Ultra-Heat-Resistant Explosives via a Strategy of Building Hydrogen-Bond Networks in Heterocyclic Bridges
Abstract
This work presents the successful synthesis of tricyclic heat-resistant explosives using the strategy of construction of hydrogen-bond networks in pyridine bridge. Remarkably, compound 8 bearing ortho amino-nitro in the ring bridge, exhibits an ultra-high onset decomposition temperature, high detonation velocity and acceptable sensitivity, overall outperforming classic heat-resistant explosives PYX.
