Reversible pH-Responsive Switching of Strong Circularly Polarized Luminescence in the Polysaccharide-Templated Co-assemblies

Abstract

Carboxymethyl chitosan functions as a chiral template to induce the helical packing of achiral dyes via electrostatic interaction, enabling efficient chirality transfer and strong circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) with a relatively high glum. The chiral coassemblies exhibit reversible pH-responsive CPL switching.
