Real-time investigation of two conformational changes of an adenosine aptamer with single-molecule fingerprint signals

Abstract

By utilizing fingerprint signals, the conformational changes of an adenosine/aptamer complex were investigated in real time. Two conformations correspond to the kinetic and thermodynamic products, respectively. Furthermore, multi-parameter fingerprint-based discrimination between adenosine and its phosphorylated analogues and an ultrasensitive detection method with a detection limit of 1.75 nM were established.
