A Layered Ultra-Stable Metal-Organic Framework for High-Loading of Zinc Single-Atom Oxygen Electrocatalyst

Abstract

The activity and stability of atomically dispersed transition-metal (M-N-C) based electrocatalysts is often limited by low metal loading and graphitization of the carbon framework respectively. Here, we report the synthesis of a Zn-N-C catalyst with high loading of Zn single-atoms (2.52 wt. %), from a thermally stable, 2D metal organic framework.
