Sowing Ru atoms on Defects CoAl LDHs for Boosting Alkaline Water Splitting
Abstract
CoAl LDHs nanosheet with sufficient defects to anchor Ru atoms (Ru/D-CoAl LDHs) as a bifunctional electrocatalyst are fabricated via hydrothermal synthesis combined with alkaline etching and static immersion. When assembled as both anode and cathode in an alkaline electrolyzer, Ru/D-CoAl LDHs achieves 10 mA cm-2 at a cell voltage of 1.54 V, surpassing the commercial Pt/C||RuO2
