In situ composite of NiCo-LDH and MnCo-LDH nanosheet with ZIF-9 as efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts for water splitting

Abstract

Two bifunctional bimetallic layered double hydroxides composite electrocatalysts derived from ZIF-9 are reported for water splitting in alkaline electrolyte. An easy in situ modified process not only retains the main structure of ZIF-9 to keep the OER performance, but also introduces another metal hydroxides to enhance HER performance.
