Synergistic interfacial stabilization and kinetics acceleration in olivine cathodes enabled by rare-earth perovskite engineering

Abstract

Perovskite LaxSr1-xMnO3 (LSM) coatings are applied to LiMnxFe1-xPO4 (LMFP) to suppress dissolution, mitigate Jahn-Tellerinduced lattice degradation, and improve interfacial charge transfer. The multifunctional LSM layer aims to reconcile interfacial stability with fast kinetics, enhancing cycling durability and rate capability of high-voltage olivine cathodes.
