Activating Multimetallic Phosphides via Plasma-Induced Phosphorus Vacancies for Efficient Water Electrolysis
Abstract
A phosphorus-vacancy-rich multi-metal phosphide catalyst was fabricated by transition-metal doping and plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition. In alkaline media, NiFeWP(VP) delivers 144 mV for OER at 10 mA cm-2, while NiWP(VP) shows an HER overpotential of 111 mV at the same current density.
