Room-temperature synthesis of crystalline one-dimensional covalent organic frameworks

Abstract

Crystalline one-dimensional covalent organic frameworks were synthesized at room temperature using n-butanol as solvent. One exhibits high hydrophobicity and excellent oil/water separation performance, demonstrating universal applicability and long-term durability for oil adsorption, opening up new avenues for the green preparation of COFs and environmental application.
