Guiding Activity of Electrochemical Oxygen Evolution Reaction on Copper Oxide
Abstract
The activity of copper oxide was investigated to explore its potential as an alternative oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalyst. The performance gap for CuO primarily stems from limited surface area and impedance, not inherent catalytic inefficiency. Thus, optimizing surface area and *O adsorption are essential for enhancing Cu-oxide-based OER catalysts.
