HSC-targeted nanoplatform for cascade-responsive imaging of mitochondrial H2O2-viscosity and synergistic melatonin-based antioxidant therapy in hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury

Abstract

We developed an HSC-targeted nanoplatform integrating a mitochondrial H2O2/viscosity cascade-responsive fluorescent probe with melatonin, enabling real-time imaging of H2O2/viscosity dynamics in HSC during hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury and simultaneous ROS scavenging to mitigate liver injury, offering a cell-specific theranostic tool.
