Synergistic molecular lock strategy enables efficient and durable wide bandgap perovskite/TOPCon tandem solar cells

Abstract

A synergistic molecular lock strategy was developed based on tetraethyl (anthracene-9,10-diylbis(methylene))bis(phosphonate) (EnPO) additive for wide bandgap perovskite and TOPCon tandem solar cells. EnPO passivates cationic and anionic defects through dual coordination and hydrogen bonding, optimizing crystallinity and energy alignment. The modified tandem devices achieved a champion efficiency of 31.97%.
