Study of stress evolution on lithium metal anodes via Fiber Bragg Grating sensing technology

Abstract

Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is used for real-time monitoring of the surface stress of lithium metal anodes. By correlating stress signals with the morphology of lithium anodes operating in different electrolyte systems and at different current densities, we demonstrated the application prospects of FBG in the morphology perception and performance prediction and failure monitoring of lithium anodes.
