Dielectric morphology engineering: hydrogel electrolyte with balanced local electric field to enhance the migration number of zinc ions
Abstract
This work introduces PVA gel electrolytes incorporating different morphologies of BaTiO3 fillers to homogenize zinc deposition via dielectric polarization. Nanoparticles form a uniform network, boosting ionic conductivity to 10.14 mS cm-1 and enabling stable 800 h Zn||Zn cycling. It elucidates the coupling between filler morphology and electric field distribution, guiding dielectric filler design for zinc batteries.
