Highly stable Fe-based catalyst from partially leached Al-Fe-Si alloy for hydrogenation CO2 to light olefins

Abstract

Partially alkali-leaching of Al-Fe-Si alloy can generate an Fe-based catalyst that balances high catalytic activity and stability for CO2 hydrogenation to light olefins. It achieves 55.2% light olefin selectivity and over 480 h stability by suppressing the unfavorable θ-Fe3C phase, offering a novel design concept for industrial application.
