Construction of Thiophene-Based Double Helices with Throughspace Conjugation for Luminescene Enhancement

Abstract

An innovative strategy achieve long-wavelength, high-yield emission in small molecules by constructing π-stacked doublehelical frameworks. Four compounds prepared via selective Negishi coupling exhibit efficient intramolecular through-space conjugation, leading to tunable and enhanced emission. Photophysical and theoretical analyses confirm that symmetry and dipole moment within the helix precisely control excited-state relaxation.
