Bithiophene-Linked Conjugated Polymers Featuring Intrinsic Active Sites for Efficient Solar-Driven Hydrogen Production
Abstract
Two bithiophene-linked conjugated polymers, PTTT and PTTB, were designed with intrinsic active sites for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. PTTT exhibited approximately fourfold higher activity than PTTB, attributed to more efficient and preferential charge separation and transport. This work demonstrates a molecular design strategy for developing high-performance and stable polymer photocatalysts.
