Facet Ratio Engineering of CuO Dictates C 2+ Products Selectivity in CO 2 Electroreduction

Abstract

Three CuO catalysts (denoted as CuO-1, CuO-2 and CuO-3) with different ( 111) to (11-1) facet ratios, were fabricated for CO2 electroreduction. Among them, the CuO-2 with a balanced (111)/(11-1) facet ratio manifests the highest Faradaic efficiency (73.2%) toward C2+ products.
