A dual-additive strategy constructing robust Li3N-Rich SEI and proton scavenging for high-rate lithium metal batteries
Abstract
The synergistic combination of 3-cyano-1,2,4-triazole (CTZ) and 1-(Trimethylsilyl)imidazole (TMSIM), featuring π-donor–acceptor (π-DA) interactions, facilitates the formation of a Li3N-rich solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) with high mechanical strength and ionic conductivity. This interface enables Li|| LiFePO4 (LFP) batteries to maintain 96.74% capacity after 1200 cycles at 5C, offering a promising strategy for fast-charging lithium metal batteries.
