Electronic Structure Regulation Promotes Tandem Electrochemical Nitrate Reduction on Cu modified porous CoO nanosheets
Abstract
A Cu-modified CoO electrocatalyst with a 2D porous structure was synthesized for efficiently electrochemical nitrate reduction. The unique nanosheet structure provided abundant active sites, together with the tandem catalysis process, synergistically contribute to the deoxygenation and hydrogenation step, resulting in high electrocatalytic activity and NH3 selectivity.
