Excitation-wavelength-dependent Emission of a Luminescent Host-guest Zn(II) Metal-organic Framework for High-performance White LEDs

Abstract

This work presents a novel luminescent host-guest Zn(II) metal-organic framework (CNU-404) with blue-light-excitable excitation-wavelength-dependent emission. It serves as a blue-cyan-green tri-color phosphor, enabling white LEDs upon blue-chip excitation, achieving a record CRI (Ra 95.7), and offering a new strategy to address the “cyan gap” challenge in solid-state lighting.
