A Fluorinated Zirconium Metal-Organic Cage-Based Supramolecular Framework for Efficient Separation of Methanolto-Olefins (MTO) Products

Abstract

The separation of C2H4 and C3H6 is of great significance in the methanol-to-olefin (MTO) process. This study achieved a fluorinated zirconium metal-organic cage-based supramolecular framework, NUT-107, with permanent porosity. This material exhibits high C2H4/C3H6 separation efficiency owing to its suitable pores and binding sites.
