Multi-Functional Polymer Coating Enabling Stable Zn Anodes for High Performance Zinc-Ion Batteries
Abstract
Aqueous zinc-ion batteries are hindered by side reactions arising from the high reactivity of the Zn anode. Herein, a novel three-dimensional polyethyleneimine/graphene oxide aerogel coating is designed to reinforce the zinc anode, which promotes rapid Zn2+ diffusion and ensures uniform deposition by enhancing adsorption energy and reducing ion-migration barriers.
