Thionaphthalimide-based photosensitizer for efficient photodynamic therapy

Abstract

A novel amphiphilic thionaphthalimide-based photosensitizer with enhanced ROS generation in aggregation stated has been developed for efficient photodynamic therapy.Scheme 1. Chemical structure of TNIS-TEG and its mechanism of action in vitro and in vivo.
