Bismuth incorporation in NiFe hydroxide ultrathin nanosheets boosts methanol electro-upgrading for formate production

Abstract

A bismuth-incorporated NiFe hydroxide ultrathin nanoarray catalyst was synthesized, which exhibits enriched Ni3+ species and lattice-disordered polycrystalline/amorphous feature for efficient and durable electrochemical methanol upgrading.
