Plasma-Induced Reconstruction of FeNi Alloy Nanoparticles on Carbon Nanotubes toward Highly Efficient OER

Abstract

The electrocatalytic performance of FeNi–CNTs toward the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is significantly enhanced after O₂ plasma treatment. Comprehensive characterization reveals that the improved OER activity originates from the plasma-induced reduction in FeNi nanoalloy particle size and increased exposure of catalytically active sites.
