A novel photochemical vapor generation medium: diketone as a medium for the determination of tellurium(iv) and bismuth by ICP-MS

Abstract

For the first time, diketones (BD and AcAc) were used as effective photochemical vapor generation (PVG) media for trace analysis of Te and Bi. The method demonstrated excellent recovery in real samples, and the underlying radical-driven mechanism was elucidated by EPR and TEM analysis.
