Visible Light-induced Sulfonylation Reaction of Copper-catalyzed Thianthrenium Salts

Abstract

In this study, we present a visible light-induced, copper-catalyzed sulfonylation reaction involving sulfonium salts. This method is characterized by mild reaction conditions and does not require photosensitizers, ligands, or bases. It also exhibits good functional group compatibility, enabling the further modification of bioactive molecules.
