Confining Bi12O17Br2 Ultrafine Nanotubes Within Co-ZIF-derived Porous Cages for Enhanced CO2 Photoreduction
Abstract
Herein, we report the construction of a spatially confined heterostructure by encapsulating Bi12O17Br2 ultrafine nanotubes within Co-ZIF-derived porous carbon cages through a facile solvothermal synthesis. The nanoreactor-like microenvironment that enriches CO2 and facilitates interfacial electron transfer, resolving the bottleneck restrictions of low coverage and sluggish activation of CO2 in pristine Bi12O17Br2.
