Lattice-matched MOF-on-MOF heterostructure for robust photocatalytic nitrogen fixation

Abstract

Herein, a structurally matched MOF-on-MOF heterostructure (MIL-68(In)@Co-HHTP) was constructed. Benefiting from the lattice-aligned interface, the heterostructure enables efficient charge transfer, delivering a superior photocatalytic nitrogen fixation performance with the NH3 yield rate of 76.10 μmol g-1 h-1.
