A multiphase Pd metallene doped with Cu atoms for promoting the electrocatalytic oxidation performance of ethanol

Abstract

This communication reports on a Cu-doped Pd-based metallene nanocatalyst. Owing to the synergistic effect of copper atoms and the abundant multiphase interface active sites within the metallene structure, the catalytic efficiency of this PdCu metallene nanocatalyst in the electrocatalytic oxidation of ethanol has been significantly enhanced.
