High-performance TixFe1-xNbO4 fast-charging anodes sputtered and aggregated on paraffin oil interface

Abstract

A sputtering-assisted solid-state reaction (SA-SSR) enables phase-pure TixFe1−xNbO4 via Å-scale oxide deposition on liquid substrates, ensuring intimate mixing and low-temperature phase formation. The nanocrystals exhibit homogeneous Ti incorporation and outstanding performance (150.8 mAh g−1 after 8000 cycles at 2 A g−1), underscoring SA-SSR’s potential for complex oxides.
