Effect of immobilized amine structure on the formation and catalysis of Pd nanoparticles for oxidation of alcohols
Abstract
Silica supports with various types of immobilized amines were systematically prepared and the effect of the amine structures on the formation and catalysis of Pd nanoparticles was studied. Tertiary amino groups were found to be suitable for forming monodisperse and active Pd nanoparticles while suppressing the side reaction during the alcohol oxidation.
