Edge-Centred Chirality Induced Enantiopure Square-Like Sulfonylcalix[4]arene-{CoII16} Cages for Selective (+)-/(-)-α-Pinene Adsorption
Abstract
The chiral recognition event plays a crucial role in such fields as pharmaceutical design, asymmetric catalysis, racemic mixtures separation. First example of new targeted square-like sulfonylcalix[4]arene-supported {CoII16}-coordination cages formation, by exploiting the edge-centred chirality induction, capable of selective (+)-/(-)-α-pinene adsorption, is presented.
