Alloying and interface effects endow supported PtRuCo nanochains with 70 000-cycle stability in hydrogen evolution under neutral conditions
Abstract
A series of ultrasmall-PtRuCo-cluster-assembled nanochains supported on hollow N-doped Mo2C “nanoflower” catalysts was successfully synthesized. Owing to the alloying and interface effects, the optimized Pt0.5Ru0.22Co0.28/Mo2C achieves an ultralow overpotential (24 mV@10 mA cm−2) and ultralong cycling life (70 000 cycles) in neutral media.
