A Dual-Mode Aptasensor Integrating Ratiometric Fluorescence and Colorimetry for On-Site Cu2+ Detection

Abstract

This work present RaCApt, a dual-mode aptasensor that unites ratiometric fluorescence and colorimetric readouts within a single molecular platform. Enabled by aptamer conformational switching, it achieves rapid (<5 s), selective Cu2+ detection and smartphone-based quantification, offering a portable and cost-effective strategy for point-of-care environmental and biomedical monitoring.
