Efficient selective hydrogenation of benzonitrile over TiO2-supported nickel catalysts

Abstract

Secondary amines are important organic compounds, given their frequent application in medicine. This work reported efficient TiO2-supported nickel catalysts (Ni/TiO2-T) for synthesizing secondary amines via catalytic hydrogenation of broad-scope nitriles under mild conditions and represents a promising method for producing high-value dibenzylamines with cost-effective catalysts.
