In the preparation of N-arylation products via C–N coupling reactions using haloarenes, dehalogenation side reactions frequently occur. This study demonstrates the efficient synthesis of N-arylated products by employing a specialized photocatalyst in combination with nickel catalysis, utilizing readily available chloroarenes, including electron-rich haloarenes with low reactivity. The reaction system exhibits high selectivity and effectively suppresses the occurrence of dehalogenation side reactions, which are commonly observed in photocatalytic coupling processes.
