Au/Ag synergistic catalysis of synthesis of 4H-imidazo-oxadiazin-4-ones via three-component domino cyclization

Abstract

A novel and efficient method for synthesizing a wide range of 4H-imidazo-oxadiazin-4-ones was achieved through a three-component domino cyclization reaction of N-tosylhydrazones with α,β-unsaturated acids and amines, utilizing Au/Ag dual catalysis, TBN as an oxidant and DBU as a base. This protocol boasts mild reaction conditions, broad substrate compatibility, and good functional group tolerance.
