Palladium-catalyzed Catellani-type selective C–H silylation of aryl-TT salts

Abstract

A palladium-catalyzed three-component reaction of aryl-thianthrenium salts, norbornene/diphenylacetylene, and hexamethyldisilane has been developed for the assembly of highly functionalized disilanes, in which one C–C bond and two C–Si bonds are constructed. Meanwhile, various functional groups are tolerated and the desired products are obtained in moderate to high yields.
