Investigating the impact of counter anions on the electrocatalytic alcohol oxidation reaction over MOF-derived catalysts

Abstract

The electrocatalytic oxidation of alcohols (AOR) using low-cost metal–organic framework (MOF)-derived electrocatalysts is a promising renewable energy technology. This study explores the impact of the counter anion in MOFs and its relevance to catalytic efficiency to improve understanding of structure–reactivity relationships.
