Stereoselective enolate and homoenolate Michael additions to benzo-fused nitroalkenes: Strategic advances and mechanistic perspectives
Abstract
Carbon-nucleophiles, particularly enolate and homoenolate chemistry continues to represent a foundational platform for the development of carbon-carbon bond-forming methodologies, offering efficient strategies for the construction of structural diversity with biological importances. In this review, we discuss recent advances in the functionalization of benzofused heterocyclic nitroalkenes, with special emphasis on diastereo-and enantioselective enolate-and homoenolatemediated transformations involving carbon nucleophiles.
