Preparation of α,β,γ,γ-Tetrasubstituted α,β-Unsaturated γ-Lactams via Tandem or One-Pot Oxidative Ritter Reaction/Knoevenagel Condensation

Abstract

An efficient synthesis of α,β,γ,γ-tetrasubstituted α,β-unsaturated γ-lactams has been developed through a tandem or one-pot oxidative Ritter reaction/Knoevenagel condensation of the functionalized nitriles and 2-arylketone for the first time.
