An electrostatic self-assembly strategy to construct highly stable MXene/CuO nanocomposites for high performance supercapacitors

Abstract

MXene/CuO composites were synthesised using an electrostatic self-assembly strategy and their electrochemical properties were fine-tuned by optimising the preparation process and the composite ratio. The optimal electrode material showed a high specific capacitance of 608 F gāˆ’1 at 1 A gāˆ’1, demonstrating its potential for application in asymmetric supercapacitors.
