A CuCl2-loaded covalent organic framework membrane with a long degree of conjugation for iodine adsorption to achieve sustained antibacterial activity

Abstract

Three types of covalent organic framework loaded with copper chloride (COF–CuCl2) membranes can serve as iodine carriers to efficiently adsorb iodine in aqueous solutions. COF–CuCl2 after iodine absorption can achieve rapid and sustained antibacterial activity in the physiological environment through the iodine release process.
