A neutral Mn (II) boron imidazolate framework (BIF-251) was unexpected synthesized by formic acid as bridge liker via in-situ solvothermal reaction. This newly developed Mn-BIF ORR electrocatalyst offers valuable insights into the design of Mn- based BIF materials for renewable energy applications.
