A macrocycle-mediated antitumor nanoplatform was successfully constructed from folic acid modified β-cyclodextrin, photoreactive diazonaphthoquinone grafted metal-organic framework doped with gold nanoparticles, and anticancer emodin via multivalent interactions, endowing NIR light-boosted photothermal and chemotherapy capabilities, achieving “AND” logic gated targeted anticancer treatment.
